Louder Than Words
Louder than Words was written in 2016 for the Closing Ceremony of the World Youth Assembly, held in the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations in New York.
With music and lyrics by David Leha, the message of the song is that ‘we belong not only to each other, every man, woman and child, that we also belong to the land’.
The chorus ‘show me love and I’ll show you change’ has a powerful resonance in the song, not only through music and words, but with David’s commanding vocal presence.
The song is dedicated to Yin-Chu Jou, former Artistic Director of Friendship Ambassadors Foundation and Chair of the World Youth Assembly, 2016.
